Bloomberg News ~ Telecom Giants Near Settlement of 13 Cases on Networking Patents

Comcast, Charter, Cox and other telecom companies are nearing settlements with closely held UnifiedOnline’s ChanBond unit for 13 lawsuits filed in 2015 over patents on high-speed networking technology, according to court filings in one of the cases.

ChanBond and defendants “have executed a binding term sheet to resolve their disputes” and “are diligently working to effect settlement, but need additional time to complete the final steps,” according to a joint notice filed under seal Wednesday and unsealed Thursday in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware
