Greatland Gold's Shaun Day on Telfer Reserve & Havieron expansion plans

Greatland Gold PLC managing director Shaun Day talked with Proactive about the company’s updated ore reserve for the Telfer gold-copper mine and its forward-looking development strategy. Day outlined the release of a 712,000-ounce gold and 23,000-tonne copper ore reserve for Telfer, achieved just five months post-acquisition. This comes on the heels of a 3.2 million ounce resource estimate, collectively taking the total resource base, including Havieron, beyond 10.0 million ounces. “This is really built on the back of Michael Thompson and his team,” Day said, noting the speed and scale of the update. He emphasized that the reserve confirms continuity at Telfer as Havieron ramps up, avoiding any production gap. Day also discussed the two-year dual-train production outlook through FY27 and emphasized the production and cost benefits expected once Havieron, a significantly higher-grade and lower-cost asset, is integrated. An updated feasibility study aims to expand Havieron from 2.8 to 4–4.5 million tonnes per annum, potentially via conveyor infrastructure to enhance economics and ESG performance. SulNOx Group CEO on strong Q4 and new major rail partner

SulNOx Group Plc CEO Ben Richardson talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s financial performance, global expansion and new industry partnerships. Richardson said SulNOx has already exceeded last year’s revenue within the first three quarters of this financial year, with the fourth quarter also showing strong momentum. The company develops patented, all-natural technologies to improve the combustion efficiency of liquid hydrocarbons, reducing both fuel consumption and emissions. During the interview, Richardson highlighted SulNOx’s growing footprint across multiple sectors including marine, logistics, rail, mining and agriculture. “It’s literally every combustion engine on the planet,” he said. The company is targeting global marine fleets, citing that the sector alone accounts for around 5% of worldwide fuel use. SulNOx recently announced a partnership with Colas Rail UK, following successful emissions-reducing trials. The results showed a 5% improvement in fuel efficiency and visible reductions in black smoke emissions from diesel locomotives. Richardson also detailed commercial progress with global shipping giants such as Eastern Pacific Shipping and brokers like McQuilling and Technava. These partners are not only adopting the technology but are also investing in SulNOx and helping introduce it across the industry. With products now sold in over 40 countries and growing interest in biofuel applications, the company is scaling up operations and research. Iofina CEO: strong iodine demand to drive expansion

Iofina PLC CEO Dr Tom Becker takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company’s performance during the first quarter of 2025, its upcoming production milestones, and market conditions for iodine. Becker explained that despite severe winter conditions in early 2025 impacting brine availability, Iofina managed to hold production steady. He described the quarter as "pretty decent," even though the company had anticipated stronger output. He noted that weather-related disruptions were outside the company’s control, particularly due to the reduced oil and gas production from partners. Iodine prices remain firm at over $70 per kilogram, and Becker expects this to continue due to strong demand—especially in healthcare—and limited new supply sources globally. “The demand for iodine and its compounds, especially in healthcare industries, is strong and should grow year over year,” he said. Looking ahead, Iofina’s IO#11 plant is set to come online in the second half of 2025, with early-stage work on IO#12 already underway. The company remains confident in reaching its long-stated 1,000 metric ton annual production target.
