How long do you want $560 million frozen by the court, just to try to prove your point?
And as each day passes, and the cost of a settlement likely rises, does it really make sense to keep paying hundreds of thousands in legal fees on a case that could be settled, possibly for less than the $560 million?
And if there is a settlement, a little over 25% of that settlement goes to Chen as a RENN shareholder.
So why keep paying lawyers, and having over half a billion frozen, when you can end all the pain tomorrow, at a net cost well under $500 million?
Questions Chen should be asking himself today.
