P value is near irrelevant with this tiny sample size. I’ve seen ‘statistically significant’ changes in pilot studies vaporize many times when larger studies were carried out.

Not to pile on, but my wife has Parkinsons and the person to person and day to day variability of the disease an ongoing stressor to me and a reminder not to glom onto the thinnest reed of hope through need. Desperation moon shots are for sufferers. Investors not so much.

In the 80's I owned a high end audio manufacturer; Athena Audio outta SF. I was constantly fielding calls from desperate spouses of AD sufferers for Athena Neurosciences outta South SF. the calls were based on magazine articles and radio news blurbs and preliminary data. Looking back thirty years, all those hopes based on not much came to nothing.

Here's hoping, but there is time if the story has legs.
