Could it eventually be a great thing? I believe that answer is a resounding yes! But I also think some OTC PubCo's are going to end up getting suspended by Sept 23rd that honestly don't deserve to be suspended. They will simply get suspended because they didn't take getting current sooner more seriously, and instead waited too long to start the long process of going current...which will result in them getting caught in the OTC Markets September backlog ahead.
I'm all for the SEC granting OTC Markets more power...but I also think the SEC should've at least demanded that OTC Markets hire more employees if they're going to grant a private company OTC suspension powers. Because we all already know OTC Markets doesn't have enough employees to begin with...and they'll gladly suspend as many OTC companies as they can...because they'll make more money that way sigh!
