BA you are correct about 2 representatives in a class action suit. Their role is not managing the suit for the rest though. That is the responsivility of the lawyer's office.

The reps will attend the courts and do whatever the lawyers ask them to do to help with the case.

It is the responsibility of the lawyer's office to collect the information from everyone in the suit. So, no need for anyone else (other than the two reps) to talk to the lawyer separately. So there won't be any hourly cost associated with it. The reps normally take care of the basics on behalf of everyone else in the suit.

Reps can also pass on the shareholders' list to the lawyer's office and lawyer's office will just email one consent form (or whatever it is called) to everyone else and this way everyone is officially in the suit...documented.
