I just can't get over how awesome that image of the ISS is. I'm not a telescope person, so I have no idea of the intricacies of setting up the shot, but I think it's impressive that you can be focused and aimed just right for the ISS to pass through your view.

Many times I've seen the ISS flying overhead. It's fast. (yes 17,500 mph). It's not just sitting there like the moon lol, which makes your image noteworthy.

I think it was the very last mission of the space shuttle to the ISS, and it had just detached, heading for home. As it flew overhead I could see a bright light followed closely by a dimer light. I thought that was cool.

I've enjoyed downloading SST (slow scan television) images from the ISS when it flies overhead. Sometimes they will broadcast images on ham radio. (free software converts the sound to image).

Also for HAM operators, you can briefly contact the ISS sometimes. I'll have to get back into tracking the space station and see if I can hear Ham radio chatter.
