You are precisely on point;

One must absolutely look at the bigger picture here that the company simply can’t discuss; The Publication is absolutely everything when looking at getting DCVax-L approved in all jurisdictions. NWBO will be doing more than putting out data they’ll be changing the entire paradigm of how clinical trials will be done and how the statistical analysis will be developed. It will be incredibly ground breaking and controversial, and anyone with a stake against NWBO will be exploiting this controversy in the day of social media. This can not be underestimated.

It’s my belief that in August the company had total confidence that the data would be locked any day and the results could then be put together and announced quite quickly. But I believe when data was locked in Octobder Dr Ashkan was unblinded soon after. I think he then began discussing, through his position of influence and reputation, the nature of the results with one or two of the top Medical Journals (that he probably had already whetted the appetite of with publicly available data). I don’t believe this is Dr. Liau’s wheelhouse, hers is the science. I believe one or more of the major publications then stated an interest in publishing the work. The manuscript, probably already in an outlined form, would then require finishing and submission to the Company’s own SAB and independent consultants who would review and make comments as to whether they felt the format showed that the data would be perceived affectively by regulators and by the Peer Reviewers of a major publication. Add back and forth between all these people, siimply inviting, then choosing, Peer Reviewers, then informing those Peer Reviewers and asking their availabliity, then a final manuscript, then a submission, and then the painstaking back an forth between the Peer Reviewers, SAB, the company management, and independent consultants who’s only focus is on Regulatory Approval.

I believe the fact that the Publication came into view quickly after Data Lock led to a complete re-configuration of the process because the company was not taking for granted a major publication would want the story. In the end, in my perspective, the Publication came to them more quickly than they had anticipated. They then decided it better to wait for TLD announcement in the Publication, despite the time it would take to get it all together, because it would silence any FUD attempted by shorts, hedge funds, BP, etc. AND would be a much greater influential piece of work for Regulators to better judge the data’s merits, especially in this new and unprecedented format of comparison to historical data.
