Fact 2: Lovaza is intended to reduce TG in patients with TG > 500 (but at what expense?)

Fact 3: EPA reduces the risk of CVD

Fact 4: DHA "blunts the benefit of EPA"


SIMPLE CONCLUSION: Lovaza should not be given to anyone with an increased risk of CVD
