From what I've seen the STE awards are supposed to go out between now (Q3 2021) and the end of the year (Q1 2022), so I don't think there's anything to see yet. I have no idea how subs get selected by the primary contractor. Maybe VirTra is a sole source for some of what is expected to be awarded, so they are ramping up ahead of time. Q3 is now so maybe an announcement is imminent? I would think they could always fire new hires if they didn't get an anticipated contract? I know companies do personnel searches and want signed letters of intent from successful candidate so they can put it in the bid before they get awarded contracts. Virtra may have training considerations and they probably needed the money in place to be able to fire up production right away. Who knows? Pretty confident they can’t be releasing any info before the award. It’s just a guess, since, as you said, no one can find any awards. Personally, I don't think Bob cares about share price or dilution. I think he cares about his product, being the best, and the mission.
