COLCOVID trial was already submitted.
PREPARE-IT 1 (COVID19 prevention) is finishing recruitment (n=2000)
PREPARE-IT 2 (treatment) is still ongoing (aprox n=650)

I am very disappointed to say both PREPARE-IT trials are still months from releasing data.

It just doesn’t seem to match what was said in the article a month ago:

“PREPARE IT 1 and 2 (with Omega 3) and COLCOVID (with Colchicine) to help pierce the pandemic and having enrolled more than 5,000 patients?” COLCOVID has 1,300 pts. How can PREPARE-IT 2 only have 650 (243 pts on February 14)? And how is it that in February they showed unblinded data for 1,500 pts in PREPARE-IT 1 and 3 months later they still haven’t got to 2,000! Doesn’t add up.

Bottom line: very disappointed in how this looks.
