Agree, except you mention Tele... Tele is usually twisted pairs and not enough pairs, are in series in offices vice home runs, and usually not cat5. I could be able to tweek and make phone wiring work but not worth work and dB loss would hardly make it usable. So scrap telephone unless only using as example of wiring lying around ... which you may be as overall point is lots of cat5 and hubs/router etc is valid. When a cable goes bad they string a new one but not always worth effort to pull the bad one out, so yes, you don't know if cable is any good. But it's cheap and easy to run new cable to hubs and there is usually available ports so that is really what all you need. Yea just technicality, but all this really goes back to my question of how this relates to dark pools. What's the link of dark pool operations to these 3rd party connection? "Dark pools" were not mentioned in SEC papers. I don't want to jump to conclusion so can anyone provide some specifics to explain that? It would be much apreaciated!
