mwd44...well, IMO if WMI exists , it is just a Trust stuffed with MBS generating interest...according to all documents, Wmi Holdings corp that went into chapter 11, emerged as Wmih, then acquired NS, changed the name to coop, and is trading with the symbol coop...so, these guys were smart who figured out how to squirrel away the SH assets from the estate... they put them in Trust, denying old shareholders the payment on the accrued dividends, using coops books to audit and hide assets from the estate holders, all the while using estate property to generate free stock, and stock buybacks for the company and the executive officers...what will bring SH assets out of Trust?...nothing except a court order, an adjudicated in a court of law....some lawyer, some day will put this all together, and demand that they release those funds to escrow holders..
