ETH and HIVE (seeming) disconnect

Can anyone out there give a coherent answer to why there seems to be such a disconnect between the increasing price of ETH and the continued declining price of HIVE? Some thoughtful explanations would surely be appreciated by many.

After a huge run a few months back, did Hive pps get that far ahead of itself? Is this a "normal correction"...or something else? With such seemingly bright prospects and a recent +/- 400% gain in ETH, why has there been so much recent selling of HIVE?

What am I/we missing?
