Why is everyone happy about the pipeline situation?

We're not happy here in NC since we have the largest tank farm in CP's chain which then feeds into the north east. Gas is already up .30 cents a gallon.

KEY POINTS
Colonial Pipeline said it’s restoring service to lateral lines “and will bring our full system back online only when we believe it is safe.”
While tank farms typically have a few days of stored fuel supply, a prolonged outage could lead to a spike in fuel prices.
A Russian criminal group known as Dark Side may be responsible for the attack, NBC News reported, citing two sources familiar with the matter.

Something tells me CP is concerned about turning the system back on and not have control of the flow or the pressure in the lines.

Up in MA a couple of years ago they had a malfunction in the gas lines and a bunch of houses caught on fire.

Now imagine if that happened to CP's lines.
