It won't happen during this trial. At best, a settlement would be with Cox, not the entire 13. I doubt there will be any settlement during this trial in any case. Not one time throughout this process have they taken the inventors, or our case, seriously. Comcast, IMO, wants to see how the defense holds up at trial. Cox would mostly be paid by Arris and Cisco, so there is not much at stake for the 13 to take a look at their liability. Remember, it is really Comcast calling the shots, their lawyers are all over this case. As I said, we need to be ready for anything here, and no one can be sure of anything- look at previous IP cases litigated, there are bigger dragons than Billy out there.
