It makes me VERY ticked off. And a stock pot is easier to clean. Make the SAUCE in the skillet.
Rachel Ray cooks pasta in a skillet. Or at least did at one time. If that doesn't shame you, I don't know what will.

First, nothing about food or cooking should ever make one very ticked off.

That is just silly (or if you prefer a more expensive word, then folly).

Second, shaming someone about how they cook is also silly, and furthermore is persnickety/pretentious. Don't go there. To do so is self-belittling. You are (or should) be better than that, Janice.
