OMG..Italian food conversation has me reminiscing back into 1960's Finger Lakes CYO Catholic basketball seasons when team often visited for Italian dinners after ball games..Memories of curvy mamas speaking Italian in the kitchen cooking absolutely splendid and bountiful food..Italian Men chipped in with the banquet dinners and Irish pops were pot cleaners..Man, spaghetti with red gravy, pork and beef meatballs, and Sam Polizzi's homemade hot sausage..OMG #2!

Ended up in the South marrying a hard core Baptist...Had fried catfish, turnip greens and red beans for dinner..Enjoyed, but miss scratch Italian immensely.
