Nostra Terra Oil and Gas CEO on Fouke field growth plans, 5,000 barrels a day target

Nostra Terra Oil and Gas Company PLC CEO Paul Welch talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s strategy to scale up production and drive growth from its existing base of operations in East Texas and West Texas. Welch explained that Nostra Terra is currently focused on the Pine Mills field, a long-life, shallow onshore field with low operating costs and consistent profitability. “It's been an exciting field for the last 75 years and we expect it to be an exciting field for the program for the next 20 to 30 as well,” he said. Since taking over as CEO around nine months ago, Welch has led the company to profitability by cutting costs and increasing production. He highlighted two successful well workover programs that have effectively doubled production. A key highlight is the Fouke area, where new drilling, including the upcoming Fouke-3 well, could deliver significant volumes. Welch pointed out that these wells can initially produce around 120 barrels per day—compared to the average of 6 to 10 barrels from the Pine Mills wells. If enhanced recovery schemes are implemented, the output could potentially double. Welch reaffirmed the company’s ambitious growth target: “This is a company that's going to be making 5,000 barrels a day in the next 3 to 5 years.” The focus remains on building from a solid, profitable base, with production costs in the Fouke area as low as $3 to $4 per barrel, ensuring resilience across various oil price environments. hVIVO CEO on record FY24 revenue & EBITDA as expansion strategy pays off

hVIVO PLC chief executive Yamin ‘Mo’ Khan takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company’s record-breaking financial performance in 2024, operational milestones and strategic outlook. hVIVO reported a 12% rise in revenue to just under £63 million, with an EBITDA margin of 26%. Khan highlighted this as a record margin for the company. He noted that, even excluding a one-off facility fee, the margin remained strong at 23%. The company also ended the year with £44 million in cash. Khan explained: “This is all been based on a record number of inoculations… we ran nine challenge trials and our largest field study to date.” He emphasised the company’s transformation, with a move to a purpose-built 50-bed human challenge facility in Canary Wharf, improvements in operational efficiency, and a major expansion of lab and outpatient capacity. Looking ahead, hVIVO is targeting £73 million in revenue for 2025, of which £70 million is already contracted. The company is also launching new challenge models, including Omicron and hMPV, and pursuing its first phase 3 human trial. Khan also discussed recent acquisitions—CRS in Germany and Cryostore in the UK—and confirmed continued dividend payments, with 0.2p per share set for June. Mosman Oil and Gas CEO on Vecta Project; drilling set to start in May

Mosman Oil and Gas Ltd (AIM:MSMN) CEO Andy Carroll talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the latest developments at the Vecta Helium Project in Colorado. Carroll confirmed that drilling is scheduled to begin by mid-May, with rig mobilisation underway and each of the five wells expected to take just two days to drill. Testing will follow before the rig moves to the next location, and a series of drilling updates will begin in approximately four weeks. “It’s the first time we’ve had a specific schedule with Vecta,” Carroll noted, emphasising the significance of this milestone for the company. He said each prospect within the five-well program has its own exploration risk profile, but collectively, the program boosts overall success probability. Carroll also discussed encouraging signs from nearby operations, such as the Blue Star and Helium One joint venture, though highlighted variability in helium concentrations across different wells. Mosman is also progressing other projects, including seismic activity at Coyote Wash and Sagebrush. Carroll said early results are promising, and meetings are ongoing with technical consultants and local stakeholders, including the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe.
