The J&J vaccine uses DNA adenovirus, the AZ/Oxford uses DNA also, but from chimpanzees

Whether it J&J, AZN, Putin's Sputnik, or China's Sinovax, the differences are the Adeno vectors selected, and of course the exact snippet of DNA inserted, which represents the Spike protein. Where they had to perform a reverse translation from RNA for the Covid RNA virus, and then construct the corresponding piece of artificial DNA for insertion into the Adeno DNA virus.

I believe the J&J hubbub started because of stem cells from aborted fetuses in the 1980's but I'd need to fact check that assertion.

That was small taters. A religious group got all upset about it. Meanwhile the EU was starting to investigate the AZN for blood clots. Then the 1 in a million problem turned up in J&J - let loose the hubbub.

At any rate, I'm not growing any more body hair than normal.
