The J&J vaccine uses DNA adenovirus, the AZ/Oxford uses DNA also, but from chimpanzees. The DNA vaccines are less fragile than than messenger single strand RNA (mRNA), ergo the freezing/storage requirements respectively. I believe the J&J hubbub started because of stem cells from aborted fetuses in the 1980's but I'd need to fact check that assertion.

At any rate, I'm not growing any more body hair than normal. (I'm checking my ear often however =)

J&J approached covid differently than Pfizer and Moderna
