I am proud to present the MJLB ELD DD!

Credit to Robostock (for access to this information and hours of research) and JakeFromSF.

Preface and Disclaimer:
Included in this DD will be Ultrack’s ELD and Ultrack’s Desktop client portal. Please note: While we review select sections of the Ultrack Desktop interface and ELD interface, we do not show or explain every last detail of the client portal or ELD because we believe it would be too laborious and might dissuade some from reading this DD due to length. Our mission is to show the hard work of MJLB, provide proof it is more than the under-construction website that non clients see, show that the ELD is as real as it gets, provide a brief description of some of their capabilities, and disseminate helpful information to investors, which they can use to make their own conclusions and decisions for their investments. This is not us telling you to hold, buy, or sell MJLB. We are investors of the company, hold stake in the company, and want to simply help build the DD for a company we are passionate about.

The ELD
We have seen and reviewed the entirety of both the User Guide and Administrator Guide for Ultrack’s ELD. We didn’t find it appealing to post the 105 pages of the User Guide and 28 pages of the Administrator Guide (Both Version 1) nor were we permitted to show screenshots of the ELD and guides. The guides are how-to guides as well, and most of it is explaining every last detail for each screen and button, which didn’t seem important to shareholders such as put your business name here or login credentials there. We opted for an abridged version to highlight the capabilities and effectiveness of certain features of the ELD found within the guides.

The home screen has an array of icons to select depending on whether you need GPS help, you need to look at different statuses for parts and pieces of your vehicle or what you’re hauling, a playlist because this isn’t just a strictly business device, and several other icons. The ELD icon, as we saw it, is located on the second screen after selecting a tools icon. This all could be changing as the rules and software change as a FYI.

On the second screen (after selecting the tools icon), there are 15 more icons displayed for business and personal use, including the ELD option that will present the user with key intel for their trip. Don’t knock the other icons either. Fleets can be better managed as drivers know the speed limit, where it’s most cost-effective to fuel up, use their GPS to find the best routes with the least number of delays, look at news, keep up with their own stocks, and have some pleasure in their long workdays. The truck is often their home and bed for many nights of their life. MJLB thought of this.

Getting back to the meaty ELD portion, one might wish to have a checklist at the ready for your systems, and this will also let the user know of any faults found within the items on the checklist. Then the user can check the fault, make the appropriate correction, and mark the item green once completed. Also, there are different tabs that will contain lists of items that might need attention for different parts of the truck – Truck itself, Trailer, and Emergency Equipment.

You can run a detailed report and log different events and the status of the trip. You’ll know the location, the malfunction, and not have to dig through paperwork or dig through your memory of where you were, what happened, and when. Simple, effective, and safe. You can run diagnostics and see any malfunctions detected. You can see the HOS broken down simply to help protect drivers and who they come into contact with on the roads: From left to right – shows how much of allowed daily driving has been used today; shows how much on-duty time has been used today; shows how much on-duty time has been used during the cycle; shows how much time is elapsed between long periods of rest; shows how much time of the mandatory rest was taken today; shows how much off-duty hours is left until it is possible to switch or reset the duty cycle.

Ultrack’s Desktop
Fortunately, we are permitted to show pictures of the desktop version of MJLB. Upon logging in, you are greeted with this home screen that displays a plethora of options to the user.

The icons are pretty self-explanatory, but let’s touch on a couple key points within them. The mapping section populates a Google Map with routes of trucks on the road, truck locations, and statuses of the trucks of the fleet. The reporting section allows fleet managers to determine the efficiency and safety of the fleet. This interface allows managers to hold everyone accountable. They’ll see reports about drivers and if they are being unsafe on the roads, speeding, going over their permitted hours, and what the exact details of their trucks and fleet are. The admin section allows the user to check the status of drivers, trailers, packages, and vehicles.

Under the map section, it’s more than just a simple blip on the map as well. Check. This. Out.

How much more connected can you be with a single driver? If something’s amiss, you might be able to spot it far earlier or give your driver a call to see if there might be something wrong. Plus, you don’t have to have those gauges there. You can merely have a clear view of the map if you want.

Then there are the GPS tracking reports and other reports that have far more detail than I originally imagined. Monitor efficiency by checking length of the truck being idle, seeing the distance traveled during HOS, etc. Check the status of different parts of the truck such as tire pressure, status of the engine, and any fault codes with a simple couple clicks. Companies can now have multiple eyes on the situation to prevent mishaps from occurring, and so another layer of protection is added to companies.

Conclusion
The new ELD mandate in Canada is implemented as a measure for safety for all. MJLB’s ELD, imo, hits the nail on the head from the get-go. Is everything accounted for, is it all working properly, and is the driver over-exerting themself to finish this trip? Admin can run reports, users can get a log of their trip and keep themselves within the standards and regulations set by Transport Canada, and it can be an efficient and more accurate process as paper logs and reviews are a thing of the past. MJLB’s ELD is said to be an “industry disruptor.” I believed it then, and the guides helped reaffirm my beliefs to me.

The desktop website is simplistic, yet detailed. I was able to maneuver my way around quite easily and find what I needed to find in a flash. Want a status on your drivers? Bam. Want a status on your trucks, trailers, and packages? Bam. Need to call for service for one of the trucks? You’ll know where to find them and what’s wrong. How are my drivers doing? Who is being efficient and safe? Track all of it! How much faster will trips go now that every fleet manager and user will have access to this information? Accountability is a main element here as well. Imo everything you ever need to know about your fleet is right there and easily accessible.

The ELD is real, it’s about to get certified, and MJLB has the partnerships and contracts to get this device out to countries across the globe. First Canada, then the USA rollout, and then who knows how far this can go.

Best Regards,
Robostock and Jake
