I think they have pinned their sights on a larger journal target. I also think tying ASCO’s deadlines around when to release the data would have been limiting, especially back in November 2020. I think that when they realized that when the data is eventually released, it could not be timed to a particular and specific conference. I’m also hoping, but completely unsure, that as the process has evolved, they may now seek to time the journal release with possible progress announcements of other milestone event(s). Whatever the case may be, I am content to wait. But I do, on occasion, have to wrestle with my impatience. But after 8 years, I have developed lots of practice now with that action. :)
