They were approved for coronary applications in the US earlier this year and will receive a Medicare code detailing cost covered ( max $3,666 for coronaries ) probably by early 2022 . I believe this cost covered estimate is part of a general stent prep procedure as opposed to a stand alone procedure

Some are starting to use coronary IVL instead of bypass surgery if benefits exceed risk in appropriate patients
