Kiwi...

I don't own any SWAV stock but I probably should. My story with it is simply amazing..

I developed intermittent caudication in my right leg...about two hundred yards...with severe calf pain...That was bad because I was in the habit of walking about two miles a day..

I was referred to a vascular surgeon who did a standard thrombectomy. I went home the next day..I got up and was looking forward to renewing my "hiking"..all excited..I set out..about a hundred and fifty paces and the calf pain set in..(esentially no improvement)...Next day I went to the surgeons office where he explained to me..That I had essentially no run off distal to the obstruction and there was no rationale to repeat the procedure as it would not work..

I went to see a cardiologist who was the only doctor doing Shock Wave in the Orlando area...He booked me for a procedure...that was over a year ago..I have been able to renew my walking..have no problem with caudication and don't worry bout getting a BK amputation. Shock Wave is the real thing.

By the way I did see the surgeon who did the first procedure..During a brief discussion..I noted that Dr. Kasi (the cardiologist) was the only doctor qualified to do Shock Wave in the Orlando area and was corrected by the surgeon..Who had the arrogance to correct me by saying there were many others qualified to do Shock Wave..We just "Choose not to".As a retired surgeon...It's amazing how arrogant..Surgeons can be...
