That's very helpful information. Thanks. I know ICER was very favorable toward Vascepa's pricing, but I also recall that there were a couple of dopes on the ICER panel that discussed Vascepa including a few who kept citing the Mineral Oil fake controversy.

Still, there were a few doctors on the panel who were great when they discussed Reduce It results, like Dr. Jason Wasfy, Harvard Medical School: "I was in the room when this was presented ... at a cardiologist’s meeting. There were gasps in the air. People were shocked, including me, I think, when this was presented. That after so many negative trials that there should be such a positive trial with such a big effectiveness. It’s not just a little bit positive. It’s a pretty big difference."

Then, Dr. David Rind, chief medical officer for ICER and a primary care doctor in practice, said: "I actually recall similarly, I think there was a press release from Amarin about the results being positive. And talking about something about the results and people like me and everybody else kind of pooh poohing it, waiting to see the real numbers and not thinking there’d be a mortality effect or anything else. And then these came out and it was like 'Wow.' I mean we were pretty stunned by this set of numbers."

Then Jason said: "The fish oil hypothesis was nearly dead."

And David quipped: "Yes. I had been telling patients it was great they were taking fish oil. But they could just give it to their cats."
