The market cap is determined by the share structure, in order to explain market cap, you would first need to know the share structure!

In BIEL's case it's not just about the current share structure, but more so that shares are increasing by the billions every year, while sales have gone down. So every time there is good news and increase in sales, it's all negated due to the dilution, and that puts BIEL back in the toilet!
