The foundation of our capital markets is that companies issue shares to raise capital. In our case CBAY issues shares to buy properties.
There has been too much fixation on the number of shares outstanding without understanding what the company received in return.
There is also a misunderstanding that those outstanding shares "have to be sold" --- I own some outstanding shares and they don't "have to be sold". Those who traded assets for CBAY shares don't have to sell them --- they took them because they believe in the current and future value.
This board has lost it --- we really need some intelligent, balanced thought --- but not until I have all the shares I want.
