The Heavy Lifting by the Agencies who Sign-Off on the Project is Over

Any delays will be political. This is a Great mine, will be well engineered and a valuable asset for America.

Even the "PARTY" that hates America, its history, its hard working and proud people, and its Constitution are going for a cut in this project.

Ignore the IDIOTS on the blogs.

The approval process is just being run out to allow the paperwork to be negotiated and signed. Here is where the the 'back room deals' and 'under the table' stuff is played out for the criminal elements who have to be paid.

Yep, we can all guess who these guys and girls are.

That's right the political crap is being negotiated and finalized.

When the big guys who are REALLY running the show give the Order, the approval will be announced.

The mine will be built. As I have said before, there are deals to be cut. This is a once in a lifetime investment in a mine which will get many expansions approved as the project grows and commodity prices continue to climb into the sky. The 20 year deal is just a formality to get the mine started.

This mine is going to make a lot of money over the years.

The environment, citizens of Alaska, and the fish BE DAMNED. The people who make these deals are looking at what they can get out of the deal.

This is a BIG and VALUABLE project to miners who want a piece or all of the mine, the banks and their financing, the politicians who want their investment bankers to get the financing deal, guarantees from the US Treasury, contractor(s) for services and equipment vendors to get contract commitments, and the pockets of the politically powerful (who shall remain unknown) to get some options to buy or get (free) preferred stock, warrants and bonds when issued.

In the mean time, we all wait while the power behind this gets everything in writing, the law firms make sure their clients are protected, legal fees are paid up front, and future legal services are contracted and scheduled.

This is all well understood by the firms that do big deals. Talk to anyone at the monster banks and law firms. The politicians in DC work for them and they work for the politicians.

This is a Big Game and they all play hardball.

Now, lets wait for the book, the movie, and the miniseries.
