You can hack it by strapping weight on steering wheel. There is really no excuse not to monitor driver's attention when FSD is turned on. The privacy excuse is just a way to get customers to do beta testing for Tesla gratis. In this case there was a victim, the passenger/relative that was taken for a demo.
