We should be thrilled that Northwest is not on the ASCO list. That almost guarantees that they are finishing a deal of some kind and are bound by a variety of NDA's. If your the CEO of a public company and have scheduled your ASM the day following your public disclosure of 1st quarter results (the 10Q), you'll be able to discuss TLD, journal publications, transactions ...... at the meeting. AND, if Northwest is acquired or entering a partnership, the acquiring company or managing partner of the new partnership would be the company that you would want to present at ASCO. That's the "drum beater" approach!!!! AND Merck and all the potential suitors/acquirers are on the list!!! Remember all the previous posts suggesting that Northwest will be an entirely different company by that time!!!
