I think you are absolutely right about this. A settlement with Linden will establish a market value for the tech. This is why this settlement has value way beyond the actual financial gain from Linden. This is chess not checkers, and S&G know how to play the game.

Even a small win here, will help bring in a much bigger gain when the calculations are applied to the massive infringement by ATVI. In my opinion, it looks like they are a few moves away from checkmate, with ATVI.
