Yes, I read that there was a few things that wasn’t ideal, and that they were considering putting a hold on legalization until sometime in September.
- Read this article

This is one small paragraph from this article:
- Due to that urgency, Sen. Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar of the ruling MORENA party said last month that “at this time, it is important to legislate in the terms that are presented to us” and then consider additional revisions to cannabis laws through subsequent bills.

For Mexico, or any country for that matter legalizing a drug that was once deemed in the country as illegal they want to dot all of the I’s and cross all of the T’s so to speak. However, IMO Mexico is way to close for this not to pass now. Every country’s economy has been shattered by this pandemic, and I believe they will push it thru and revise whatever needs revision afterwards. To much money to be lost if they don’t. I talked with you about tourism for example, and how Mexico tremendously depends on it. They are broke, they want to do this to help fight drug cartels. 20 pesos equals 1 American dollar! When they push legalization thru, their countries way of life will get better tremendously, there money will eventually be worth more. It will help poverty, it will bring so many new businesses to Mexico. Just like in the U.S. there are lobbyists that are pushing for this, everyone is pushing for this. Mexico is in the spotlight, when has Mexico ever had this much attention, this kind of opportunity to repair their country. To actually put Mexico at the forefront of every other country in the world. To become a leader in import/export, to have a multitude of new business opportunities for their country? Also, I don’t believe everything that is put out there. Is it a coincidence, or just a scare tactic that the whole MJ sector has been in a huge blood bath for the last month? How can we say what’s really going on in Mexico other than reading a few publications that might also be scare tactics for people to sell their shares in these MJ companies? I call B.S. and IMO I believe it will ultimately be passed in Mexico this month by the deadline. I have all my money on it, and when that gap fills tomorrow or the next day I will be adding a hell of a lot more to my portfolio! Good luck everyone still holding, and my gut says we come out on top very shortly!
