It’s funny man, none of this other DLE technology is even close to IBAT. I’ve said it here before, Burba proved 10 years ago that ion exchange cannot be commercially successful. Ion exchange was his second generation technology. His first generation is still producing (Livent), so let’s make it more efficient and put it in a mobile modular unit. Stick plants will DIE when IBAT units get going. Then all the production additions that the majors shelved because of covid will be replaced with IBAT units, instead of nasty evaporation ponds. When operators see how much they can save and improve production efficiency, it will be a no brainer for them. Same exact scenario we see in oil and gas, which I’ve been in my whole career.
