I generally agree, and think he should have been fired years ago, insomuch that he should never have been allowed to stay the public face of Amarin after the Nov 2018 post AHA debacle.

However, I don't like you're postulation of this 5D chess play, where they get rid of the "buyout hopefuls" and replace them with "real investors" as I've been hearing that schlock for years now. We need real, tangible changes. I have zero belief in this speculation of "backroom dealing" because for so long, there has been wild speculation and zero results. In fact, all I have is contempt for anyone falling victims to these conspiracy theories.

Firing him now is better than not firing him. But my biggest point of contention is that JT is merely the CEO. Firing him but not changing the business direction ASAP does little to nothing.

We should have seen immediate signs of change, even if those signs of change were as simple as "better communication, coming soon!" I don't need another adcom rushed CC debacle, but I also don't want another post-appeal 2 months of silence debacle either.

I also disagree with the contention that JT left on his own accord. He was absolutely fired, otherwise he would have retained a cushy board position like JZ did, with minimal work, but free shares (or at the least, no risk of losing any of his current RSU's).
