They are extremely cautious lawyers, careful to follow the letter of the law, if not the spirit of it.



This is not correct, at least with respect to LG. An extremely cautious lawyer doesn't go on the Big Biz Show and make an absolute fool of himself like he did.

In addition, extremely cautious lawyers wouldn't tolerate 37 late securities filings. I'm still thinking this may be a record for public companies...at least a modern record. One of these days I'll try to figure out how to verify.

I could go on and on...

Have they followed the letter of the law? If they were in possession of TLD when they filed the 10-K, then I would say no. And they DEFINITELY haven't been following the spirit of securities laws generally for many years.

We would have to know what information they had and when they had it to determine whether they have intentionally made false statements or promises. I can't imagine they are actually crooked, because if they were, they wouldn't appear so incompetent.
