Norwegian Cruise Line Unveils Plan To Resume Cruising

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings plans a phased return to cruising. The cruise company unveiled a "two-pronged plan" with cruise resumption outside the United States from Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Greece starting from July this year with the company’s ships including Norwegian Joy, Jade, and Gem. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings ($NCLH) will initially offer week long cruises from Greece, Jamaica and Dominican Republic. Shares of the company were up by 3.2% in after-hours trading on April 6. Separately, $NCLH also submitted a proposal to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States on April 5 with a plan for cruise resumption from US ports starting from July 4.
