I remember reading several years ago that the average SEC compliance regulator gets around $60,000 per year. The average Series 7 Wall Street banker makes around $500,000 annually. You do the math! A long time ago there was once a such thing known as a Rock Concert. If you have ever attended one you would have most definitely smelled marijuana being smoked. If you ever panned across the arena you would have viewed what looked like twinkling stars. Those twinkling stars were marijuana bowls, joints and bongs being lite. Looking further about, you would have noticed police presence and a few violators being apprehended. Wall Street is really no different. If there was a flash of light every time an SEC violation occurred it would look no different than a dark sky full of twinkling stars. One solution that could have solved the problem of mass lawlessness would be to cancel all such events. When one invisions the stockmarket as an event in which two traders exchange stocks, money, mutual funds and bonds you'd be wrong. Maybe a better analogy would be, that you doing all of these things in the middle of a Roller Ball game and the other team cheats. It all gets down to, well what are the other options. So all in all you must come to the realization that " It was never meant to be a game (fair)" It's the cheaters you have to beat to walk off the winner.
