John Thero is a drug marketing genius. He will launch in Germany about
6 months after EMA approval. Vazkepa awareness is low Europe...so first
he must find a way to create awareness in Europe. Here in the US awareness
of Vascepa is quite low and without DTC advertising in Europe I'm certain
that JT and his world wide experienced team has the magic formula to
create this awareness. Thero has experience here in the US where his
marketing skill is selling Vascepa is...simply mind blowing! Of course,
he must diversify into new product for his sales team to sell...perhaps
an acquisition or two in that area is warranted now that GIA is upon us.

I guess I had it all wrong. BP is not needed to sell an unknown drug
in Europe. All you need to do is hire the right team, train them over
a period of months, and then have that "crack" sales team hit the streets!
JT has a drug that will benefit the lives of 10's of millions of people
and he is just the man to make that happen. Why sell to BP and let them
make the sales when with JT at the helm he will steer the ship to
lands undreamed of. Let's not forget to give appropriate credit to
Amarin's BOD...BP material for sure. Where would AMRN be today if
not for their insight and measured planning to bring AMRN to this
great moment. Job well done, BOD...well done, indeed.
