Fair enough. Some of what you say is true, but seems way overblown. Fires occur in gas cars as well. Dendrite growth is overblow from what I can see but is there. (in older cars)
Auto pilot is in B E T A! Don't know why everyone is surprised that it screws up sometime. You are suppose to be have a hand on the wheel at all times. (yeah right, you tube is full of video of idiots doing very foolish things all the time. However, it really is good for many things now and getting increasingly better all the time. (still beta though...)
Sudden acceleration? While I have had that happen to me in a gas car, and it was really scary, it can happen to almost any car. (I mostly believe only a couple of the instances, that car is just so fast, it is too easy to punch it for the thrill. Yeah, I have driven one a couple of months back and blew me away.)
I will be buying a model Y next year when the new batteries come in as I need longer range.(My biggest beef so far for travel with EV's) I drove the Bolt and the Mach-E, both are O K but not up to Tesla at all. To each their own.
Cyber truck... I won't be getting that thing (and I live in Texas) as I have no need for one. The Y fits my needs very nicely and will be a big step up from my beloved but now outdated Prius.) Other car is a plug in Pacifica, nice, but just not what I need for longer travel, perfect for around town and learning how driving all electric is for in town driving. (I have to remember to get the gas engine to turn in every month so I can get it to run for a little bit.
Thank you for your honest opinion and will watch closely to see if this really is a problem or not.

I wrestled with reality for years, Doctor, and I'm happy to state, I finally won out over it. (Jimmy Stewart in "Harvey" 1950)
