Update, We were in conversation with the onocologist on Wednesday, and got the final answer to my beloved wife's cancer situation.
She underwent surgery 2 years ago where they found a verbal cancerous lump in the 12th intestine. The operation was successful and she received after the following chemotherapy as an "insurance" to kill any, Surrounding cells that were not visible.
Unfortunately, she received only 1 treatment out of 8, as her heart responded life-threateningly, so she naturally stopped after consulting with the oncologists.
The current situation is as follows: The same type of cancer / type has now set in, as small cancers form nodules in several places on both lungs, and they will / cannot operate, as the lungs will then die. Of course we asked about new lungs, but the cancer lay point is that even if they gave her new lungs, then cancer cells are already in her system and will at some point settle somewhere else. Currently she has it "only" and the lungs.
She is due to start chemotherapy on Tuesday, but it can only statistically in 60% of chemo treatment, hold the cancer development back for approx. 3-4 months .... After that it will develop with fatal outcome within 10-12 months??
We are in complete shock and words are empty. I stand to lose my much-loved Wife and life partner for through 20 years, and an absolutely amazing, loving and unique mother to our boys.
I can not bear it, and am completely shattered.
I / WE will of course fight until all possibilities are totally exhausted at home and abroad. ??
