Correct me if I’m wrong, but LTCG are part of AGI. So even a retiree with no wages who sells 40,000 shares at $10 per share would be “making over $400,000” and have to pay the higher LTCG rate. Thanks for the margin strategy tip. I don’t understand how that works exactly, but I’ll find out.
