Interesting. Nobody has as their purpose here to “enrich themselves over retailers”. Not LP’s purpose. Not. That’s not the end goal. If so, this is a scam. But, of course, I don’t believe that for a second.
How about this:
Creating a company, envisioning a product, a personally meaningful product, building the company, bringing the product to market, as a publicly traded company, which, happily for “us” (or not) enables this much loosely tossed around group/word, “retail”, to PARTICIPATE in someone else’s sweat and tears and, fingers crossed, success. This is the gift of Capitalism. WE (RETAIL) GET TO!, choose to, or not, participate!!, and ALL we have to do is hit a button or two on a trading platform. Lol.
And, yes, those who invested years of their lives toward, their, dream, be it a business, such as selling books on line, or making cars, or, cancer therapies, guess what? They too, GET TO profit if successful. It is the beauty of Capitalism. Incentivized growth, if you will, for the betterment, hopefully, of our world. The incentive is important. Or nobody would, or could, start such companies. Capitalism is not, imo, a dirty word. You, we, retail, do not have to latch on. Nothing here is dirty. It is, capitalism, building companies, again, not a zero sum game. It is growth. I’m so many ways. It may be life, literally, to so many. We all deserve our rewards, for our risks. All we, retail, have to do is hit the send button. It’s really pretty cool, if you think about it. Anyone that feels they are being taking advantage of should hit another button. Hey, thanks, Anders, for listening to my rant. Retail gets to participate. Pretty cool. Imo.
