The issue of Federal overreach in Alaska for water is identical for overreach in every other area: including management of mining lands...like Pebble. The state was provided extensive rights upon statehood. Those rights are 100% applicable to the development of Alaska's extensive mineral resources. And Governor Dunleavy for once is finally stepping up to the plate and hollering "FOUL!"

As Alaska exerts its legal rights, Pebble will receive a healthy tailwind towards overcoming the hypocritical "no mining / no copper" voices of those who demand conversion of our economy from fossil fuel to electric.

Thank goodness there are A FEW politicians (Dunleavy, Noem) still serving who are not swamp creatures: (Biden, Murkowski, Sullivan).

Perhaps there is a chance the US will somehow survive these 4 years.
