There is much misinformation going around on the board today. Please do not take this as in your face but ONLY to clarify what is turning into many thinking Amarin is just sitting around NOT wanting to announce Vaskepa approval in EU. This is a process with more steps and hoops to jump through than even the US.
Yes, it is just a matter of time before it is official. Gabor, please feel free to come in and correct me but this is the process:
Right now we have received COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING DECISION ONLY.

After this comes the COMMISSION DECISION, hopefully tomorrow

After the Commission Decision comes the official DECISION (letter) which will be sent to Amarin letting them know that Vaskepa has been approved. Hopefully before the Easter holidays.

We aren't going to see an announcement until the official DECISION (letter) is sent.

It is "inevitable" but not "official" at this stage. When it is official Amarin will post it and hopefully have a conference call around this.

Use the analogy with your favorite basketball team being up 3-0 in the best of 7 series and leading game 4 by a score of 100-72 with 1:15 left in the game. Your favorite team is going to win the championship but it isn't "official" until the horn sounds. The horn sounding is the "official" Decision letter. Once that is sent to Amarin, we can celebrate and start marketing.

Believe me, they are more than ready to start the medical training campaign in Germany directed at the cardiologists to get this rolling.
