Hi Ken, Re: Newport's Date Code..................

You can find the date code in Newport's files using Microsoft's "NOTEPAD" function under "Accessories."

The file you want to locate is STOCK.NPT. In Notepad you won't find the file unless you change to "All Files" from TXT Files.

The very top of that file will have a seven digit number. The number for last week's update was "2459295". You'll have to write over the old number with this one to bring the file up to last week's date. Don't add any extra characters, spaces, etc. Don't even hit "Return." SAVE the file after typing over the old date code and exit.

Restart Newport and you should be okay through last Sunday's date. It will ask you to update your prices again tomorrow.

These aren't old files that have been imported into Newport, are they? If that was the case, you'd have to fill in all the prices from the last time Newport was updated to the most recent week.

Hope this helps,
OAG
