My lucky day. I ask one poster and get three responses. A sincere thanks.

First a response to Rayovac

You do not go from extremely strong/desirable Spider Silk properties to production by any single logistical advancement. You do not do the impossible with nothing but small steps.

Sure, agreement there. But you may consider things like the patent in Canada--it seem like it came from nowhere and does not seem to be a step in any direction; more like a non-sequitur in terms of producing spidersilk in Vietnam. If there's some connections I am missing, I'm sure sb will tell me.

If hiring someone is PR worthy, so is their departure.

I'm glad we agree.

Announce production and this is a nothing burger.

Agreed. But what that means is before announcement, this is a something burger. Or, more to the point, it is a sham of a PR. It makes it looks amazing, but really it's just window dressing for $250k of stocks--which proves my point of making something more than it is.

Then to W2R
For some reason your responses seem like you felt I was directing comments to you specifically. I was not. I was speaking in general to Spiderman.

No risk of being overly optimistic or seeing any reasons for optimism

I'm not so sure. If a poster on this board only sings the praises of anything KBLB, it makes me wonder. Of course, there's the opposite side here too. I'm not denying that. I used to be super optimistic, but now am more cautious and frankly disappointed. It could be that a different game is being played than I think is being played.

Notice how there is never, EVER, any indication of anything that would point to some sort of progress being made?

I used to think that's the case. I have seen some mild positivity now and again from Slinger and Mojo. But for the most part it seems like what you're saying.

What part of looking at increased staffing, increased production inputs and accelerated production timelines leads one to believe "undying optimism" is required to feel like the company is progressing?

The ambiguous part. I think that's one of the cruxes of the whole issue. Yes, they said they were doubling. But it's been pointed out that Prodigy went from 7 down to 5, and now they're doubling? That seems disingenuous to state it like that. Are there new inputs? Yes, I guess. That's what the PR said. What are they? How much are they? What ramifications does that have? No one really knows. So I don't see a need to get happy about something they won't tell in a direct and clear manner. Otherwise, why the ambiguity from a former lawyer? Accelerated production is in the same boat. Without specifics it's virtually meaningless. That's my take.

why don't doubters have any burden of proof?

First, I think some people are natural doubters. That's not me. Some are forced doubters--the whole "fool me once" thing. I think those who are pessimistic about KBLB currently have proof given to them each time a PR is released. The 10 year unable to mass produce issue is first, of course. I realize Kim is trying to do something that hasn't been done before. But those looking to make money aren't as "invested" in the idea as they are in making money. Hence the pessimism. But repeated PRs with no bearing on production (Canadian patent) and no clear indication of anything (production inputs / doubling an unstated number) require those who think this is a good sign to prove it. Because if it were a good sign, as the logic goes, they would have stated it clearly. That's my reasoning of saying the burden of proof has shifted.

the rabbit hole of name calling, other than I guess it must make you feel good to try and belittle others

No, it actually doesn't. I don't realize that I was name calling. If you're referring to the koolaide comment, then I apologize. I'm not here to name call. I get no joy from it. I was just trying to point out the two different extremes here on the board.

I just don't get the exuberant optimism when it does not seem like anything is there. Everyone here on the board hopes that KBLB can mass produce. That's why we are here. But getting excited about "procuring additional inputs" really makes me scratch my head. What does that even mean? Mulberry? Eggs? Money? Farmers? Weaving machines? Cardboard boxes?
Let me put it this way, if my spouse talked to me like Kim puts out PRs, my "Spidey sense" would be on high alert.

And in response to Arachnodude

Thanks for all the company PRs and filings. They're so at your finger tips. Nice.

1) So the board isn't seated. Why the hubbub in 2019 about seating them? It seems, in retrospect, contrived. Maybe it was well intentioned and then things got linked to the uplist and became something of a farce after that. I'm wondering if these people will still want to be board members 2+ years later. I just don't get it.

2) The cold, cold worms

it has implemented new quality assurance management and production procedures at Prodigy Textiles, the Company’s Vietnamese subsidiary, based on lessons learned from its production rollout.

Fair enough. 40 acres of new mulberry trees, climate control (how'd they miss that one?), and the same fiber testing equipment as in the U.S. lab. Stellar! Point resolved

But it brings up a new point...

The production hiccup caused by the winter launch is not expected to impact the Company’s business plan or prospects...The Company’s plans to produce its first commercial batch of Dragon Silk are still in progress.
The Company has remained in communication with its collaboration partners, informing them of this temporary delay in shipping,

That was more than 1 year ago, and all that has happened since is a small amount was sent to Michigan? What's up? Silkmaster thinks they're breeding worms to breed more worms, to breed more worms to get to max production capacity. What has happened this entire last year?

3)

Here’s KBLB IR answering of their own accord when directly asked

This who affair seems shady. When asked there's a vague answer given. Why not have a replacement? Why not get in front of it and state that production is now the new focus and the company is saving money?

4) Army

As a result of that contract, the Company brought its research operations in-house, opening its own research laboratories and expanding its scientific staff. This transition to in-house operations has led to a series of new technical breakthroughs and is believed to have accelerated the pace of new development.

So the end result of the Army contract was enough money to open their own lab and leave N.D.? Great.

5) MOU with Polartec

Seems more like making something out of hopes and dreams.

8)

Without adequate funding, we are unable to expand operations and accept opportunities for large scale production of our products

Was this ever discussed here? What does this even mean? Not enough money so we can't accept opportunities for large scale production? I don't have enough money so I can mass produce spider silk? Why? Mulberry too expensive? If you have insights, I'd love to hear them.

Anyway, that's about it. Thanks for reading and responding!
