Right there when I hear synthetic shares, phantom shares, ghost shares etc is when I stop believing. I am not falling for any short thesis. Perhaps some etfs are being shorted and amc is caught up in that...perhaps. we don't know that for sure. What is spoofing this is the willingness of amc to issue half a billion shares. No need for that when traffic is already back in theaters and starting to build. I can see if a year passes and traffic is limited then sure issue shares to stay afloat. And amc knows damn well they are in the spotlight of the short crowd. What do you think will happen with those half a billion shares??? Shorts will have a field day with those shares
