Your example of a $10 per share gain has happened once since I have been in Anavex..

Another point in this discussion that has not been addressed that is relevant is what percentage of the total investment is used in core and in trading. I can't speak for others, in my case it varies from 10% to 5% so the impact of missing a huge and rare move is not that big.

Others here have told of selling 100% on the run up to $28. I admire their knowledge and courage as I don't have the cojones to do that. FOMO lives strongly in my breast.

There are multiple ways to handle the investing choices in Anavex. Buy and hold is a valid approach. Trading around a core holding is another as is just trading it period. Each of those approaches is represented by various posters on the board.

I do applaud the posters that honestly post the successes and failures of their investing approaches as I have learned from each of them. To all of the posters on this board I say thank you for the learnings I have gained.
