got an interesting reply from Rob just now...

MetroTel as an entity is totally detached from GlobeTel. GlobeTel does not own MetroTel. No GlobeTel subsidiary owns any part of MetroTel. Certain investors in MetroTel do work for GlobeTel. They are mainly passive investors in MetroTel but did open the door for MetroTel to ask GlobeTel to develop this product to sell in the MetroTel stores.
